The Vermont Tech Men's Basketball team posted a 101-80 victory over vising NHTI to close out the first semester. NHTI entered the game as the 4^th ranked team in the USCAA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll. With the win, VTC evens their conference mark at 3-3, and lifts their overall record to 3-7.

After NHTI got out to an early lead, Vermont Tech hit their stride offensively and amassed a 7-point halftime lead. After the break, the Knights continued their efficient offensive play, building a lead of over 20 points mid-way through the second period.

Nick Ryan posted a double-double with 34 points and 15 rebounds, and Jamal Hughes got his own double-double with a 24 point, 12 rebound performance. In addition to the productivity of Ryan and Hughes, the story of the night was Vermont Tech's 3 point accuracy. The Knights connected on 60% of their three point attempts. Logan White led the way with (5) three point field goals on (6) attempts. Nic Shepherd (3-6) and Jack Griffiths (3-5) bolstered the long-range attack with efficient shooting performances.

Through (10) games, Vermont Tech has faced six teams ranked in Week 1 of the USCAA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll: Eastern Maine Community College (19^th), Southern Maine Community College (1^st), Central Maine Community College (7^th), College of St. Joe's (11th), Berkeley College (6^th) and NHTI (4^th).
