Moore Commits to the Knights

Randolph Center, VT: Coach Hughes announced Tuesday that Marquis Moore, sharpshooter from Tucson, Arizona has commited to Vermont Tech. Moore, who will be a junior was an all-league player at Scottsdale Community College. He will be tranferring to Vermont Tech from Mount Marty University. 

Coach Hughes on Moore:

"This is big for us. He defends, he can score and most of all he brings leadership. I know he will bring intensity on the defensive end and make sure we are getting better everyday. On top of all that, he is just a great person who wants to succeed on and off the court." 

Marquise on joining the Green Knights:

"I'm super excited to join Coach Hughes and Vermont Tech this fall. Vermont sounds like a home away from home and it's a great opportunity for me to showcase my talents while also making my teammates better. Coach Hughes and his staff made me feel wanted. The expectations we have are high and I'm excited to be a part of it."

 Marquise will major in Business Management.
