Amazeen, Stearns, and Flint Named to the YSCC All-Conference Team

Concord, NH- The Yankee Small College Conference announced its 2014 Women's Soccer All-Conference team on Saturday Afternoon, and Three Vermont Tech Women's Soccer players had made the team.

Sophomore Emily Amazeen (Northwood, NH), played every minute of every game and anchored the defense. Amazeen was the glue to the back line on defense as she help stopped numerous offensive runs by her opponents, and also created offensive plays for Vermont Tech.   
Freshman Ashley Stearns (Bethal, VT), controlled the middle of the field for the Green Knights and led the team in points. Stearns vison in the midfield led her to an All-conference award.
Sophomore Laura Flint (Highgate Center, VT), made over 125 saves in net this season and led the YSCC and the USCAA with a .828 save percentage. Flint also improved trough out the season and making some very key saves for the Green Knights. 
 

The Vermont Tech Women's Soccer team also took home the YSCC Sportsmanship award for their conduct of fair play, respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents.
