WOMEN'S SOCCER GETS COMMITMENT FROM ALL-STATE FORWARD, KAILIE MORRILL
First Team All-State Forward chooses the Knights
Randolph Center, VT: The Vermont State University Randolph Women's Soccer team and Head Coach Richard Terrien gets huge commitment from the Enosburg Falls star forward Kailie Morrill.
Kailie Morrill's list of accolades during her four years of leading the Enosburg Falls High School Hornets include being awarded First Team All-Mountain League in both her junior and senior seasons. In her sophomore year, she was selected as "Athlete of the Week" by the St. Albans Messenger. Her offensive prowess also landed her as the team's Most Valuable Player (Coaches Award) her junior year.
Here is Coach Terrien's perspective on Kailie Morrill becoming one of best emerging players in the New England region:
"She's got an incredibly gritty and competitive athletic engine. Her career has been marked by scoring big time goals during the most crucial moments of matches. Kailie's particular style of feisty attacking and technical ability on counterattacks and set-pieces will serve the Knights well in our build-up play and finishing in the final attacking third. The Randolph community is excited to have her join our Veterinary Technology program."
As a senior, Kailie Morrill was named to the prestigious Vermont Soccer Coaches Association's Division II All State First Team as a Forward. She also scored a goal for her Gold team while playing in the inaugural Vermont Green & Gold Senior Classic at Norwich University's Sabine Field. Before preseason camp begins this summer, she will be playing in the Twin State Lions Cup, which showcases the Top 22 soccer athletes from Vermont against the best players from New Hampshire.
