Green Knight Ladies Shut Out by Hampshire
GK Senesac saves 17
Despite Senior Goal Keeper Abbie Senesac (Williston, VT) deflecting 17 shots, including stopping a penalty kick, Vermont Tech Women's Soccer lost to Hampshire College 5-0. Hampshire had too much offense for the Green Knights, reamining on constant attack in their opponent's zone. Senesac did her best to save as many shots as possible, but there were simply too many and some fell out of her reach.
Hampshire College is now 2-0, 2-0 in YSCC, while VTC is now 1-5, 1-3. The Hampshire College women are next on the road versus St. Joe's (VT) on Sunday, September 18 at noon. The Knights next host NHTI on Tuesday, September 20 at 430pm.
