RANDOLPH VOLLEYBALL EARNS FIRST WIN IN 25 YEARS
Randolph, VT— The Vermont State University Randolph Knights women's volleyball team made history last week, capturing their first victory in 25 years with a commanding 3-0 sweep over Roxbury. The Knights put on an inspired performance in front of their home crowd, taking the match in straight sets: 25-17, 25-9, and 25-7.
The Knights showcased depth and determination throughout the night, with Anna McKillop and Jasmine Mooney leading the way at the service line. Their strong serving runs shifted momentum in Randolph's favor and kept Roxbury struggling to find rhythm.
"This win means so much to our program," said Leah Gifford, head coach of the VTSU Randolph Knights. "The players have been putting in the work every single day, and tonight's result shows just how far we've come. It's a proud moment for Randolph volleyball."
With this victory, the Knights set the tone for a new era of competition, looking to build on their success as the season continues.
The Knights head to VTSU Johnson on Saturday for a double header.
