UMPI gets the better of VTC, 2-0
VTC Men’s Soccer battled to a hard fought loss against University of Maine Presque Island this past Saturday. A very strong, physical, and well organized UMPI came to VTC looking for an easy win, but the Green Knights battled for every loose ball, challenged every offensive foray and defended their hearts out to keep the score respectable against a superior UMPI squad. Coach Hutchins was quoted after the game “Josh Ferris and Ramsey Allen were outstanding today. They played with energy and skill that help keep the game within range as it easily could have gotten out of control."
