Alaskan guard committs to Vermont Tech
Jonathan Williams, a 6'1 guard from Anchorage, Alaska signed a letter of intent to join the Knights this fall. Williams comes from Iowa Central Community College where he played 2 years for the Tritons.
"It's a really great signing for us." Head Men's Basketball coach Jamal Hughes said. "He is a player who is committed to winning and making the right play. He's a gamer and he is not afraid of big moments."
"I'm really grateful for the opportunity to continue my basketball career." Williams said. "I chose Vermont Tech because I wanted to be apart of a community of students and faculty that hold true to a mission statement; that is geared towards developing students and student-athletes who will excel in college and in life. The core values of integrity, community, accountability and leadership are key to living a life of stewardship and selflessness.
Jonathan will major Entrepreneurship.
