Knights Hoped for a better day against NHTI
Vermont Tech 0, NHTI 5
The Knight started another game slow and fell behind early as the conceded a back post goal in the first 5 minutes of the match. NHTI Ryan Uva gave them the lead when he made a back post run unmarked from the middle third of the field. NHTI would add two more first half goals by Justus Turck, and Jacob Silverstein.
The Knights bad luck would continue through the second half as they allowed the 4th goal of the contest just 10 minutes into the 2nd half when Semir Sandric for NHTI found the back of the net.
The knights would struggle the entire game to match the effort needed to compete against NHTI on the day. But found themselves a few opportunities late before Jeremy Caruso would have a suspicious call go in his favor giving him a PK opportunity with 8 minutes left in the contest. NHTI would knock home the PK and take with them a 5-0 victory on the day.
Scott Durkee had 5 saves for the Knights on 10 shots. The Knight play host to Hampshire College this weekend the 24th at 3pm.
