Men's Soccer looking forward to a great season
Returning players and new talent will combine for improved performance
The Vermont Technical College Men's Soccer Team is looking forward to perhaps their best season in recent history. With a well-rounded group of returning players from last year, including Captains Matt Golden and David Livingston, forwards Hannes Fisher-Byrne, defenders Kyle Wells and Ramsey Allen, and transfer goalie Zach Fortuna, the Green Knights are looking forward to a much improved win- loss record.
Coach Hutchins has been able to recruit some foreign players to VTC as well, including Daniel Mujica from Caracus Venezuela and Gregory Cherestal and Olivier Durant from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Several incoming freshmen will be joining the team, each of whom had great success in Vermont High Schools prior to joining the VTC squad. They are Jarek Larrivee from Enosburg, John Errair from Springfield, and Morgun Brunelle from St. Albans.
Third Year Coach Hutchins was quoted saying "I'm really looking forward to mixing the foreign flair with the hard working local players to find the right balance of exciting soccer that these players deserve. I'm very impressed with this group so far."
